ITG is a division of The Travel Store Inc., located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. In 1969, David Dickey purchased The Travel Store following his successful ownership of a prospering insurance agency. He recognized that travel could be used as a tool to motivate the agencies representing an insurance company, and the Professional Insurance Agents of New England agreed. Dickey coordinated annual conventions for the insurance industry and implemented some of the first ever incentive travel programs with instant success and measurable results. In 1974, Claudine R. Auge, when she was the office manager, began to transform this local travel agency into a regional marketing company based on travel incentive programs for insurance companies. Today, Claudine R. Auge’, president of The Travel Store Inc., is proud that ITG is the leader in motivational marketing in the Northeast. We have built our business on experience in and knowledge of both the travel and insurance industries.
